it's Parth's day!
Greetings, you all,
I’m grateful you even clicked on this piece. I wanted to write about my last year and the lessons I kept relearning. This will be long, a bit uncensored, and sometimes philosophical. I promise I’m 100 % honest with myself while writing this, and maybe you’ll pick up something new today.
Birthdays have always been my time to pause and watch my life from a third-person view. I used to keep these notes private; last year I posted them on Twitter, and this time it’s a blog.
Somewhere along the way I realised I love writing my thoughts, my confusion, my everything.
The only real super-power we humans have is that we can feel.

Twenty-four. ~8 7 6 0 days on Earth!
OK, here’s my ninja-hathodi version:

keep that smile on, anon!Every day still reminds me to stay humble; the moment I think I know something, life swings back and proves I don’t.
Since my last birthday I’ve:
switched jobs (twice, and counting)
changed cities (might do it again)
lost and found my people (might lose them again)
Goals I checked off:
went BALD
changed a god-damn city, got a rented apartment

attended my favourite singer’s concert
removed a wisdom tooth
recorded my first video
wrote my first blog
river-rafting
bungee-jumping
bought my new macbook

We’re just getting started a long way to go and plenty to learn.
A Quick Story on Kindness:
Some days this year felt like the end of the world. Yet, looking back, there’s so much to be proud of. One incident sticks with me:
I was biking to my favourite chai spot when I saw a 65-year-old uncle pushing his Activa toward a petrol pump, half a kilometre away. I stopped and offered help, and his eyes teared up. maybe he’d started to doubt that kindness still exists. Ten minutes later, tank filled, he smiled wide. I giggled the whole way back.
This isn’t bragging. If you get a chance to help, just do it. It comes back often when you need it most.
Social Media Is (Mostly) Doomed:
Hot take: most of us can’t recall the last ten reels we watched. Our brains weren’t built for constant noise. Wars, disasters. if you can help, help. if not, drowning in headlines only drains you.
Validation is another trap. 20 likes on a story out of 300 views feels nice, but it fades fast. Everyone has their own thousand problems. No one’s truly watching.
I’m not quitting the apps completely, and you don’t have to either - just remember the only resource you truly own is time. Spend it wisely.
The End … and a Beginning:
This blog is mostly for me to come back, reread, and track the journey. I made it public because maybe one line here dents your life in a good way. Tiny selfish motive.
Thanks for reading, and happy 24th to me. Let’s stay aware of what’s happening in our lives and choose kindness whenever we can.
